FEATURING ... SHANE ROMERO...
Shane Romero was born and raised in Denver, Co. At the age of 16, he got put into the teachings of nationally known poet Ken Arkind. Shane started building a name for him self in spoken word and slam poetry with attacking venues across Denver . Shane sticks out every time he touches stage; his poetry is a reflection of his personal life and what his eyes see on a daily basis. Shane’s writings take a direct shot and issues in the inner city, race, and the constant battle of love. Shane’s approach when touching stage is to keep his poetry as raw and pure as he can to always maintain himself in his writings. At the age of 20, Shane then saw his dreams for being a full time spoken word artist on a larger scale and moved to Los Angeles, Ca. While in California Shane has featured at countless venues and colleges throughout the whole state. Shane was a member of the 2009 Inland Empire slam team and 2009 Inkslam Inland Empire slam team. In 2008 Shane was the coach for the Inland Empire BNV youth slam team which was held in Washington, Dc. Shane will continue to bare his story and life on stage for years to come.
